Guided Self-Care to Eliminate Anxiety, Depression, and Pain

My challenges were mostly invisible; people often described me as calm, yet beneath the surface, I carried anxiety, depression, fatigue, and chronic pain. I leaned on coping strategies that, over time, no longer supported my well-being. As those inner struggles surfaced, I began making gentle, intentional changes: walking with my dog, weaning off medication, and exploring healing practices like lymphatic drainage, meditation, and yoga.

The power of touch, mindful movement, breath, and a supportive community helped regulate my nervous system and uplift my spirit. Today, I feel stronger and more authentically myself than ever before—not despite getting older, but because of how I've learned to care for myself. My profound experiences fuel my passion for sharing these modalities with others. I stay committed to my self-care and continue to study. I'm grateful to learn from and be mentored by Vicki Sylvester at Path Yoga Therapy, where I now teach yoga and offer massage therapy.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I find joy in simple, grounding pleasures. I spend a lot of time walking and hiking with my two dogs, Gunnar and Tulip—the loves of my life—who keep me active and deeply connected to nature. My home is filled with greenery thanks to my love for indoor gardening; it's basically a greenhouse at this point. I also love reading, experimenting with new recipes, and leaning into practices that help me grow. I'm always challenging myself to live more authentically and become the best version of myself.

Education

My personal practice of yoga, meditation, and massage allows me thoughtful self-care accountability, bringing genuine compassion and presence to my work. Education has given me a strong foundation, but it's my 20+ years of lived experience that truly enrich the support I offer. By integrating these practices into my life and work, I help clients reconnect with their bodies, explore their emotions, and discover pathways to meaningful relief and lasting well-being.
